The Schoffel Ptarmigan Classic Coat is a reliable, high-performance jacket designed to keep you comfortable in the field. Now updated with a Dermizax drop liner membrane, it offers 100% waterproof, windproof and breathable protection (20K/10K), ensuring dependable performance in all conditions. Lightly insulated with 40g PrimaLoft Black, it provides essential warmth without bulk, while the classic relaxed fit allows for ease of movement when shooting. A detachable and adjustable hood, along with elasticated storm cuffs, helps seal out the elements on colder days.
Designed for practicality, the Schoffel coat features fleece-lined hand-warming pockets with retainer straps, large bellows cartridge pockets with drainage holes, and two internal security pockets for valuables. Finished with a two-way YKK zip and machine washable construction, it’s a durable and versatile choice for any shoot day.

Stores are open 7 days a week Monday to Sunday. Order collection from our Hereford store is available or we can deliver anything (courier permitting) if we have it in stock. If there's an item not on the website but we have it in stock, an order can still be placed over the telephone for delivery or collection. Standard UK delivery is £4.95 and FREE over £100 in order value. Order collection is free, we do not charge for this service. Our online trading remains open 24hrs a day. We are despatching orders efficiently during Monday to Friday.

Returns Policy - 28 Day Return and Exchanges
For returns from within the UK mainland, please contact us for a prepaid returns label which will be e-mailed to you along with instructions on how to use the label.
Exchanges - Label is free of charge
Refunds - The label cost of £6.50 will be deducted from your refund.

We accept returns, and will exchange or refund products within 28 days of the delivery date. We accept international returns for refunds only and if a replacement is required, please reorder via the website. We offer no quibble refunds providing our Terms and Conditions are met and we can resell the item as unused. If you change your mind or the item is unsuitable, buyer pays to return.
