The men’s Barbour Classic Bedale Jacket is as iconic as they come. As a timeless country wax jacket, the Classic Bedale is at the heart of Barbour’s brand. This lightweight and durable weatherproof jacket remains a firm favourite year after year and is crafted using Barbour’s 6oz Sylkoil waxed cotton which offers a matte, wind-resistant finish and a soft, smooth feel.
Designed by Dame Margaret Barbour herself, the Bedale was first introduced to the Barbour collection in the 1980s and has remained a well-loved staple ever since. Originally made for riding, the relaxed fit jacket is cut in a shorter length and features a studded rear vent and a robust two-way zip with Barbour ring pull to ensure the jacket is comfortable to sit in.
With signature Barbour style, the jacket features a sit-down corduroy collar, roomy bellow pockets and moleskin-lined hand warmer pockets at the chest. The tartan lining adds additional warmth and comfort. Like all of Barbour’s classic wax jackets, it is fully interactive with zip-in linings and additional hoods, extending the practicality of the jacket to year-round use. Stores are open 7 days a week Monday to Sunday. Order collection from our Hereford store is available or we can deliver anything (courier permitting) if we have it in stock. If there's an item not on the website but we have it in stock, an order can still be placed over the telephone for delivery or collection. Standard UK delivery is £4.95 and FREE over £100 in order value. Order collection is free, we do not charge for this service. Our online trading remains open 24hrs a day. We are despatching orders efficiently during Monday to Friday.

For returns from within the UK mainland, please contact us for a prepaid returns label which will be e-mailed to you along with instructions on how to use the label.
Exchanges - Label is free of charge
Refunds - The label cost of £6.50 will be deducted from your refund.
